A children’s author on a mission to sprinkle kindness across the UK and beyond, spreading the message to BE KIND, one story at a time.
Based in Sheffield, I’ve grown up around and always found a deep joy and calm in the arts—from language and storytelling to music and creative expression. As a passionate advocate for childhood wonder, I believe every child deserves a life filled with laughter, love and emotional safety. Sadly not all children experience that and that’s why I write.
My stories are intended to be fun, playful and accessible for all ages. They gently explore big feelings like empathy, kindness, friendship and happiness – all through a mindful lens that provokes thought and encourages positivity. All of my creations come from the heart and I draw from personal experiences so my stories can offer a safe space for children to understand themselves by simplifying complex emotions, allowing them to see themselves by presenting relatable experiences reflected on a page.
In just 11 months we’ve sold 28,000 copies and completed 23 storytelling trails across the UK with @CityDressing – Each trail is packed with imagination, movement, meaning and kindness at the heart.
The Mindful Monsters series spreads the message that kindness truly costs nothing and changes everything!

Bobbleflop gets sad about losing contact with his friends in a difficult time. Whilst dealing with his emotions, Bobbleflop finds the courage to reach out to one of his friends, discovering they themselves need support too. Bobbleflop shows that reaching out, understanding how people feel and being kind, helps brings friends together.
